This service searches the will index in the selected county for wills registered under a specified testator's name. This is only a search- the actual will document is not available online due to privacy rules governing electronic access to court data in Illinois. But if a search comes back with no results, it can save a trip to the court to get a copy of the will.

Although the searches can cover all courts, they must be focused on a given person and are thus do not deliver data in bulk (for reasons detailed the relevant FAQ on the Data section of our FAQs).
